I am a financial adviser. I am looking for a chart or spreadsheet that compares the major group health insurance companies. I do not need quotes just the basic things that are covered or not covered by each carriers average plans- No, you do not want to compare COMPANIES, if you did, all you'd have to do would be to go to the SEC website, and download their audited financial statements. You want to compare PLANS. Unfortunately, you can't. Each state has different requirements, and each company has different plans, and they'd tailor a plan to fit a particular employer, if requested. So there are literally THOUSANDS of plans out there, all subject to change every month. There is not an "average plan"
- The problem is insurance plans can differ form state to state so you would have to find this for the state s you do business in. You really need to build a relationship with a broker that works in your area. They would have the knowledge you are looking for

Each insurance company will have several different plans in each state which they do business, and if the group is large enough a group policy can be tailored just for that group. The only place to get the information you are looking for is a local independent agent that works in the group market. Also, individual policies will be different from group policies
